Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19/10/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EduManage (“EduManage”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects data when an institute, its staff, students or guardians use our tuition/coaching-centre management platform. By using EduManage, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run your institute's day-to-day operations, including:
- Institute and branch details: name, address, contact numbers, branch settings.
- Staff records: name, role, contact details, login credentials, attendance and activity logs.
- Student and guardian records: name, class/section, contact details, admission and academic history.
- Payment metadata: fee amounts, invoice numbers, payment status and transaction references processed via our payment partner. We do not store full card, UPI or bank credentials on our servers.
- Usage data: device, browser and log information collected automatically to keep the product secure and reliable.
2. How we use this information
- To provide core features: admissions, attendance, fee collection, exams, reporting and communication.
- To send transactional notifications such as fee reminders, receipts and attendance alerts.
- To provide customer support and troubleshoot issues raised by your institute.
- To improve product performance, reliability and security.
- To meet legal, accounting and audit obligations of the subscribing institute.
3. Storage & security
- Each institute's data is logically isolated by branch, so one institute cannot view another institute's records.
- Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS.
- Administrative actions and data changes are recorded in audit logs for accountability.
- Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
4. Third-party services
We work with a small number of trusted third parties to operate EduManage:
- Razorpay, to process online fee and subscription payments securely.
- An email delivery provider, to send account emails such as password-reset codes.
- Expo's push notification service, to deliver notifications to the mobile app.
These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their service and are bound to protect it.
5. Data retention
We retain institute data for as long as the subscription is active, plus a reasonable period after cancellation to allow for export, reactivation or legally required record-keeping. Data may be deleted or anonymised after this period on request.
6. Your rights
Depending on your role, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held about you by contacting your institute's administrator or reaching out to us directly at the details below.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website and application use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the website and application: which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from the IP address. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for this. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading speed; they do not use cookies.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with the website and application through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement). Clarity sets its own cookies for this. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses this data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or with Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
